EFRS: CHESNEY AWARD 2024 Announcement 

 

The aim of the ISRRT Research Fund is to promote research that helps encourage evidence-based practice and improve the standards of delivery and practice in medical imaging and/or radiotherapy. Starting in 2016, to commemorate the Chesney sisters who left in their will a legacy to ISRRT, the fund name was changed from the ISRRT Research Award to the ISRRT Chesney Research Fund. 


Call for Grant Applications 2024 in the theme of
 
“Addressing the global shortage of radiographers / radiological technologists”


 
You are invited to propose a research project/proposal. The project may include improved or newly developed methodology or modification to standard protocols and procedures which may result in a sustainable or improved quality service in the respective discipline of medical imaging and radiation therapy.  
 
The grant is £1500 (1 year project) and £3000 (2 year project). Full details of the Research Fund Guidelines and application form can be found at http://www.isrrt.org.

The closing date for submission of grant application is 30th September 2024. The funding decision will be announced by 31st October 2024.
